Isn’t uPVC harmful to the environment?
We take environmental concerns very seriously, working tirelessly to minimise the impact our operations have. To do this we ensure that we select our casement windows carefully, recycle when possible and carefully plan our deliveries to help reduce our carbon footprint.
Our lead- free tilt & turn windows are designed to be energy efficient, which helps to lessen the impact of environmental damage whilst also helping the homeowner use less heating and aid in reducing their monthly bills.
At Flair Windows we operate Recycline and collect any scrap uPVC materials from customers for recycling, including old, first generation plastic windows that we replace too.
Can I replace my windows myself?
If you have the correct skill set, then replacing your window should be an easy task to do, however the installation of new tilt & turn windows is now classed as a building regulation matter, which should be signed off by the local building control office or installed through a competent person’s scheme, such as FENSA.
As top 25 FENSA installers, Flair windows not only offer our tilt & turn windows to trade outlets and retailers, but we’re also experienced, dedicated, MTC qualified installers.
