Our aluminium doors use a marine grade polyester powder coat as standard, with a choice of single or dual colours available.
For perfect thermal insulation, our aluminium doors have a choice of either double or triple glazed units.
Our aluminium doors have been weather tested (Air: Class 4, 600Pa, Water: Class E, 750Pa and Wind: Class 4, 1800Pa)
Using a 1.0 centre pane, our aluminium doors can achieve a U-value of 1.5 W/m2K as standard.
Slim lines combine elegance with great performance together with smooth, easy operation.
An option of thresholds are available. Where the situations allows, thresholds can be recessed to floor level.

Can Flair Windows install aluminium doors to my home?
Certainly, not only do we supply our aluminium doors to trade and retail outlets, but we have a dedicated team of MTC certified installers that will be more than happy to install our units to your home.
Are aluminium doors thermally efficient?
Yes. Although aluminium isn’t a natural conductor of heat compared to traditional timber frames, we use a modern polyamide thermal break to ensure that our aluminium doors have a high resistance to heat transfer. They also achieve a U-value of 1.5W/m2K, which is lower than the minimum requirement.
Are aluminium doors harmful to the environment?
Not at all. In fact aluminium is one of the most environmentally friendly materials in home improvements. Often nicknamed the ‘green metal’, it occurs naturally in the earth’s crust and actually requires a lot less energy to produce compared to uPVC and timber.
Aluminium is also highly durable and has an average life expectancy of roughly 45 years when proper care is applied. When it comes to the end of its life cycle, it can be recycled out indefinitely, resulting in less waste.
At Flair Windows, we actively strive to be eco friendly and will have steps put in place to ensure that we reduce our impact on the environment. We carefully select our transportation to help reduce our carbon footprint, whilst also actively recycling out any unused, old uPVC.
